“One of my earliest memories was visiting model homes with my grandmother in Palm Springs, which we both enjoyed and now is a wonderful memory for me.  Always rearranging my room and changing things up, at amusement to my Mother, was a natural activity in our home–and a bit of an annoyance to my Brother.  Following my passion, I attended and graduated from the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach, California where my career began as an intern for a local architectural firm, which was so valuable to me.  This experience led to a position at a leading interior design firm that specialized in model homes.  At that moment I knew this was my passion. Taking a floor plan and maximizing the liveability of the space and selecting all specifications and furnishings that brought the model home to life, was so satisfying as a designer. From the initial set of floor plans to review, selecting fabrics and furniture and all the details that brought a one- dimensional home to life, was truly a rewarding experience.

After leading teams and working for a few model home firms, I decided to start my own company in 2003 named Ami Samuel Interiors.  Today I feel fortunate to be recognized as a leader, innovator and award-winning design firm.  I’m grateful to have an amazing team with the goals, attitude, and work ethic that have contributed to the success of this company.

Being a wife and mother of two kids, I know the importance of balancing work and home.  In my free time, I enjoy hanging with my family, traveling, Zumba classes, and rocking out to my favorite music.”
